Kaipara Youth League Comp!

We are pleased to announce a Kaipara Youth League Comp 2024 in Term 1.

This competition is aimed to introduce our younger players to a competition format.

Details:

  • Two grades (both mixed).
  • U12s (Born 2013, 2014 & 2015).
  • U14s (Born 2011 & 2012).
  • Starts 21 February 2024 to 3 April 2024.
  • A 7-week comp.
  • 8-10 players per team (a maximum of 6 teams per age group, so be quick!).
  • Mouthguards to be worn by ALL PLAYERS - NO MOUTHGUARD NO PLAY!
  • 30 minute games (two 15 minute halves running clock).
  • 45 minute game slots to allow for warm-ups.
  • 24 second shot clock.
  • Each team registered must have a coach on the bench.  If you are struggling to get a coach, Kaipara will work hard to allocate one where possible.
  • NOTE:  If you are unable to get a team, email Kaipara Basketball and we will endeavour to find you one
  • Enter team through Game Day app, as per links below.  NZ Basketball and Northland Basketball have strict requirements that all players must be registered through Gameday.  This effects funding for our sport which effects opportunities for all players.
